Policies

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

An instructor is in the water or on the step beside every group during practice. Parents, friends and coworkers watch from the bleachers or the doorway; the pool's own rules say where.

Wear a plain swimsuit, and bring a towel, a water bottle, lunch and a change of clothes. Goggles are welcome if you like them.

Stay home with a fever, a stomach illness or an open wound, and tell us before the morning begins. We will find you a place in a later course.

A course needs every hour of it. If you miss part of a day, your instructor tells you which skills to repeat and when the next course meets.

If the pool closes for weather or repairs, we message you the same morning and move the day to the next open time at the pool. We close on the major holidays.

Tell us a week before a course begins, by phone or email, and we will move you to a later course or close your registration.

Phones stay in your bag on the deck. During first-aid practice your instructor may ask everyone to put them away.
